Megan Sturm, 52, passed away on April 20th, 2021 in Franklin, Tennessee.

Megan was born in Arcadia, Florida on June 19th, 1968. Megan spent the first years of her life in Florida foster care with foster parents, John and Mabel Brown. At the age of 7, she was adopted by her parents Ben & Lois Feldman. After attending Boca Ciega High School in Gulfport, FL, she joined the United States Army in Military Intelligence as an Arabic linguist. She attended her language training at the Defence Language Institute in Monterey, California, where she met her husband, Thomas Sturm. Both Tom and Megan bravely served their country in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

She married Thomas Sturm, her loving husband of 33 years, on March 17th, 1988 in South Carolina and then a family wedding in Wisconsin. Megan and Thomas welcomed their first daughter, Rachel Sturm, into the world on March 28th, 1995. Shortly after, they were blessed with their youngest daughter, Sydney Sturm, on November 8th, 1996.

Megan worked at Advanced Bionics as a Cochlear Implant Consumer Specialist. She received true joy from serving her patient candidates and loved working alongside her amazing co-workers.

Megan was an extraordinary wife, mother and friend. Her excitement for life and positive attitude were truly contagious. She loved being near water and the beach, adoring her hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida. She was a true light to all that knew her and will be missed immensely.

Megan is preceded in death by her parents, Ben & Lois Feldman.

Megan is survived by spouse, Thomas Sturm, and children Rachel Sturm and Sydney Sturm.
