Question #1Can I plan and pre-pay my funeral with you?
Answer:Yes, by pre-planning your final arrangements you are able to relieve the burden off of your family during an inevitable time of stress. You are able to make your wishes known by discreetly meeting with our staff at the funeral home or in the comfort of your home. By doing so you can lock in the current prices of the funeral home's goods and services and set aside funds for other expenses associated with funerals. This ensures that your family will never have to pay the difference in inflated cost of the funeral home down the road.

While many insurance company's advertise on TV a flat rate "final expense" policy for burial they do not guarantee the funeral cost. Meaning these policy's will never keep up with inflation nor do the policy's make your final wishes known. Your family would still have to do the funeral planning and pay the difference beyond what the policy pays. Most advertised policy's are whole life policy's which ultimately means that you will have to make payments till the day of your passing. Most importantly about these policy's, they do NOT offer government protection if you file for medicare. Meaning if you should have to file for medicaid the government has the right to make you liquidate this policy which would leave your family with nothing.

Our funeral plans offer guaranteed acceptance, irrevocable government protection and flexible payment plans. Our payment plans range from 12mo, 3yr, 5yr or 10yr. The irrevocable portion of our plan means that the government can never take these funds away from you should you have to file for medicaid.

Question #2Can I pre-pay my cemetery arrangements?
Answer:Yes, All cemetery property and merchandise can be picked out and designed ahead of time. This includes all ground spaces, mausoleums, niches, markers and benches. This allows you to save money ahead of time and take stress off of your family.

Question #3Why should I pre-pay when my life insurance will take care of the cost?
Answer:Pre-planning through our funeral home will make your final wishes known. This is something no other insurance can do. However, Life insurance is a great thing to have. Although, many people loose sight of what life insurance is intended for. Initially you purchase life insurance to take care of your loved ones "lives" should something happen to you. Many people end up using a large portion of their insurance on funeral cost do to insufficient planning. Life insurance is intended to help to keep your loved ones lives going after you are gone (ie. mortgages, tuition, healthcare etc).

By planning though us you can lock in the current prices of the funeral home's goods and services and set aside funds for other expenses associated with funerals. This ensures that your family will never have to pay the difference in inflated cost of the funeral home down the road.

Question #4Can I arrange my cremation directly with you?
Answer:Yes, you can arrange your own cremation services through us. We have our own on-site crematory which is operated by our staff. This ensures that your loved one will be in our care throughout the entire process. The services can also be planned ahead and payed for at today's cost.

Question #5Do you have funeral's on Sunday?
Answer:Yes, we offer service times on Sunday at each of our funeral home's at no additional cost. We are open 365 days a year.

Question #6Can I have a viewing even though my loved one will be cremated?
Answer:Yes, you make have a traditional visitation and service with your loved one or a private family viewing. Either way the cremation can take place after these services.

Question #7How long does cremation take? Can I be present during the cremation?
Answer:Most cremations take place within 5-7 business days. We first have to have a death certificate which can take 1-5 business days. These certificates have to be signed by a doctor which is unpredictable as to when they will do so. Although, most doctors sign within 1-3 days. After that the cremation can be performed and the cremated remains returned to the family within 5-7 business day from the time of passing.

Since we have our own state of the art cremation facility with a family lounge each family has the opportunity to be present for the actual cremation process if they wish.

Question #8Can I get more certified death certificates later?
Answer:Yes, every death certificate is held on file at the health depart of the county in which the person passed away in. The family can go directly to the health department or call our office for us to order them for you.
