I loved to visit with my Oma. I started visiting her and Opa in Texas when I was nine years old. I would fly by myself and we would have a wonderful time at their house in Kingwood. Oma would make me ham, cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches whenever I wanted, day or night. Oma and Opa also let me climb on their stairs and furniture like a jungle gym and I love swimming in the pool. Oma and I got very close the last few years when she was living in Franklin. I am thankful every day I got to spend with her. I’m so thankful she was at our wedding in May. John always said he was most afraid of Oma’s opinion of him and he said she welcomed him with open and loving arms. Oma will forever be in our hearts.
We would like to thank all friends for their support for mam and us during the last few weeks. The staff and nurses at Williamson County hospital, the staff and nurses at the Hearth in Franklin and from Guardian hospice care have made this a loving and caring time for all of us, thank you very much.
