Condolence From: Bob Hogarth
Condolence: Gary was a great colleague & friend. When I worked in the GM Central Gage Engineering Group in MI, we consulted on many issues & I always looked forward to his occasional visits to MI. His knowledge & experience were vast & his perpetual good humor was contagious. When I was about to retire in '08, I asked him if he was interested in replacing me, but he declined. We continued to have occasional contact after retirement. I was impressed with his energy to continue working after his GM career. I will miss him.
