My Aunt Esther was truly an amazing woman. If you read the Book of Esther, she truly was that Esther! She was a wonderful mother, wife, aunt, cousin and much more. We all loved her and she will be missed. Sorry I couldn't attend her funeral, had my 50 year high school reunion at the same time.

Esther: You were a sweet lady and cousin to my stepfather Melvin Griggs. I was so glad to have known you both and been part of your family. I really appreciate that you came to see my mother on her last day and wrote her letters and emails that I read to her while she was in the hospital before she passed, that was a great comfort to her. I also remember when my mother and Melvin were still with us visiting with you and Herman at your home on Southcrest. God now has another angel, may you rest in peace in his embrace.

Aunt Esther will always be remembered as a loving, kind, compassionate, generous Christian Lady..she was a very patient and understanding Godly woman, she was very much a second Grandmother and friend to me...I will miss her more than words can express but,I won't be sad because I know she is now in her heavenly home with our lord Jesus and so many of our loved ones..Rest in Peace Aunt Esther.. until we meet on that beautiful shore

We have nothing but fond memories of our sweet aunt Esther. Lela remembers visiting aunt Esther and uncle Herman regularly with our dad and petting her dog, Pepe. I remember that I could call aunt Esther every year and she would buy Girl Scout cookies from me to help me win a prize, whether she wanted them or not. We also enjoyed talking to her on the phone. She was a beautiful, mild-mannered soul, who never spoke badly of anyone. She always tried to do the right thing. Family was very important her and I am sure that she is happy to be reunited with those of hers who are in heaven. She will be missed and loved forever by both of us.
