Condolence From: Gary Alms
Condolence: Creig first ministered to our family by teaching the Sunday School class of my son, Philip, at Christ Presbyterian Church. Intuitively knowing that relationship and fun was the way to "his guy's" hearts. He loved on these young men and even went that extra mile to take the whole bunch of them to see a Predators game!
Later, I found him encouraging me in the same way, as he took me to a Titans game when he served on my Artists in Christian Testimony, International, leadership team. He was always ready to go other extra miles to encourage me in my ministry; a spontaneous meeting at Shonies, a call to see how I was doing, a grinning one sentence rebuke when he caught me without my business cards! I valued his experience in teaching budding salesmen to persevere in taking the initiative. I knew that ministry requires that same perseverance. But it also takes laymen like Creig to encourage it!
So, I valued Creig's stand as a laymen willing to translate the temporal of time, talents, and treasures he was given into the eternal fruit we will all someday see! Now, he, himself, has been translated. The words of challenge he leaves behind live on continuing to affect those he taught and those they will teach. (Philip took a young man he discipled at his church to a Titan's game last year!)
Knowing Creig's joy in cheering on a well fought game, and knowing he is one of the "witnesses" in heaven that surrounds us, I know he won't miss a play of those of us he will continue to cheer on from the stands in heaven!
Thanks Janet, Mary, Amanda, and Rachel for sharing him with us. We'll be praying for you.

Condolence: To the Soeder Family:
Few families can share their grief with the legions of friends and loved ones that you have to lean on. From the SW Company, to the church, to his social circles with all of you, and even the people he simply passed through life and left with a smile, Creig is one of those that will be thought of with the same grace, humor, and love he brought to all of us. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and the knowledge that Creig will always be a part of me and countless others.
sincerely,
john li
