Obituary for Sarah Ellen Cockerham

Sarah Ellen Cockerham, age 79 of Thompsons Station, TN passed away September 27, 2015 in Nashville, TN. She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky to the late Jesse & Pearlie Robinson Napier. Mrs. Cockerham is preceded in death by her son, Randy Cockerham; granddaughter, Kelly Cockerham; sister, Hattie Cockerham; brothers, Virgil, Bob, Grover and Price Napier. Survived by husband of 62 years, Matthew Cockerham of Thompsons Station, TN; sons, Faron Cockerham, Ronnie Cockerham and Edward Cockerham all of Thompsons Station, TN; daughter, Anita Cockerham of Franklin, TN; brothers, Charles (Stephanie) Napier of Centerville, TN and Larry Napier of Surprise, AZ; grandson, Philip (Domini) Pelkey; great-grandchildren, Joey Voight, Josh Stockdale, Zachary Pelkey, Savannah Pelkey, Braylon Pelkey and Gavin Pelkey. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Friday, October 2, 2015 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Charles Napier officiating. Burial will follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday and 10AM-2PM Friday at SPRING HILL MEMORIAL PARK, FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 931-486-0059. www.springhill-memorial.com
