I share your sorrow because I have been lucky to know Uncle Gilbert my whole life. I have learned from him and respect him and I still remember his advice even to this day. I respect his memory and love the person he was as I grew up. He was not afraid to live, and lived his life fully. His courage during WWII and other times in his life got him to his great age, his very survival a wonderful event in all our lives. Thank you for giving us this day to honor him, to say goodbye, to speed him home.
