			<description><![CDATA[I will always remember Ms. Earlstine as one of the best Sunday School teachers ever! She taught us Bible stories. We memorized verses and learned what these verses meant and how they were a message from God. She opened her home to us by inviting us to come swim in her apartment pool - something we thought was a HUGE luxury at the time because getting to go swimming in a pool was a real treat for little country girls like us! She also fed us 'exotic' foods like pizza delivered to the door and chicken salad sandwiches on croissants. Then, she let us have soft drinks out of a can (we thought they only came in glass bottles). What a cultural as well as spiritual awakening she offered us as 10-12-year-old girls. Ms. Earlstine was always patient with us and made us want to learn. She would pose a question and leave us to come up with the answer and challenge us to explain with more depth by asking us more questions. It was a true inquiry way of learning Biblical truth. She was not a commanding sort of personality but was instead a softly shining beacon who gently led folks to Christianity. She and her quiet guidance will be sorely missed in our world. I am thankful I was fortunate enough to have known her.]]></description>			<category>Shared Photos</category>
