Judi Mae Yerdon Ginder, age 76 of Brentwood, TN passed away March 6, 2019. She lived much of her life in Richfield Springs, NY, but moved to Brentwood in 2000 to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She worked as an administrative assistant and tax preparer until she retired. She was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin, TN, where she met the love of her life, James G. Sybert. Despite many health issues in recent years, she never gave up on her efforts to get better. Her four granddaughters gave her much joy and she loved watching them grow up and follow their dreams. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delmer S. and Ruth Swartz Yerdon; her brothers, Richard and Henry Yerdon, and her sister, Beverly Yerdon Kaiser. She is survived by her son, James (Tricia) Ginder of Greeneville, TN; her daughter Mary G. (Frank) Caprio of Franklin, TN; her sister-in-law Barbara DeMarco Yerdon; her granddaughters Angela and Maria Caprio, and Lily and Keely Ginder; her nieces and nephews; and James G. Sybert and his children and grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 9, 2019 at St. Philip Catholic Church in the Historic Sanctuary, Father Bala officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Philip Catholic Church or The Richfield Springs NY Fire and Rescue Squad.
