Sidney Carroll Cantrell, age 77 of Spring Hill, TN went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. Born in Clintwood, VA to the late Eddie Eugene Cantrell and Edith Evelyn Hagie Cantrell. Sidney and his wife Ruth are members of the First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill. He enjoyed life and always had a way to make people laugh. Sidney spent 51 years as a Pharmaceutical salesman for companies such as Chapman Drug, Walker Drug, D&K Drug, Morris & Dixon Drug and currently worked for Southern Pharmacy Co-op. He was the recipient of the Salesman of the Year by the Tennessee Pharmaceutical Association. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Ruth Strong Cantrell; sons, Stacy (Brenda) Cantrell, Wesley (Michelle) Cantrell and Michael (Christy) Cantrell; grandchildren, Mary Ruth (Justin) Gilliam, Jacob (Laura) Cantrell, Michael (Courtney) Cantrell, Cayla (Josh) Whitton, Laura Grace, Mollie, Nathan, Abigail and Caden Cantrell; special friend and co-worker, Sherri Forrest. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Monday and one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be held at Spring Hill Memorial Park in the Remembrance Columbarium. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill.
