Robert “Bob” Jones, age 57 of Columbia, TN passed away on October 5, 2018. Bob was born in 1961 to the late Henry Jones and Geraldine Woodside Jones. He enjoyed working with horses and always liked to have a good time. Bob was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. A loving, caring and great father who will be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by sister, Karen England. He leaves behind his son, Chad (Beth Kasper) Jones; daughter, Hannah Jones; siblings, Linda (Clifton) Crutcher, Rocky (Debbie) Jones, Charlene (Freddie) Lancaster and Henry “Toot” (Tammie) Jones; several nieces, nephews and other loving family members. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Phil Bennett officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Saturday and one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in the Burwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Jones, Derek Crutcher, Kevin Crutcher, Justin Jones, Cory England, Todd England, Marty Irwin and Jody Beard. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Dugger, Troy Carter and Brian Smith. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bob Jones memorial fund.
