Susan Elaine Skelton Campbell, age 52 of Franklin, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior September 19, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Graduate of Boyd Buchanan High School in Chattanooga, TN and received her Bachelors Degree from Freed-Hardeman University. She served as church secretary for twelve years at Spring Meadows Church of Christ. She also taught Ladies Bible Classes. Preceded in death by father, Carmack Skelton and father in law, Charles Campbell. Survived by: husband of 30 years, Dr. Thomas Campbell; sons, Jacob Campbell, Logan Campbell and Clay Campbell; mother, Nancy Skelton; brother, Jeffrey (Misty) Skelton; mother in law, Beverly Campbell and other loving family members. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Lipscomb University, Collins Alumni Auditorium, 1 University Park Drive, Nashville, TN 37204 and visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Bill McDonald and Dale Jenkins will officiate. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Dr. Roger Davis, Dr. Brent Thompson, Dr. Joseph Deweese, Dr. Scott Akers, Dr. Jeff Lee, Dr. Greg Young, Dr. Kevin Eidson and Dr. Jimmy Torr. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders of Spring Meadows Church of Christ, Chester Darden, Stephen Heffington, Garth Pinkston, Scott Ford, Brent Spicer and Chuck Terry. Memorials may be made to Carmack Skelton Endowed Scholarship at Freed-Hardeman University, Henderson, TN.
