Obituary for Janice Wray Jordan

Janice Wray Jordan, age 80, a life long resident of Franklin, TN passed away August 16, 2018 after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s along with other complications. Janice was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was an avid Master Gardener who loved spending time outdoors and being with her nine grandchildren. She was the retired Clerk and Master for Williamson County Chancery and Probate Courts from 1979 to 1998 serving the Williamson County Court system for over 30 years. She was both loved and respected for her work and active community involvement. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter “Chop” Jordan; parents, Grady and Eva Wray; brother, Grady “Bud” Wray and daughter in law, Patti Jordan. Survived by her children, Jerry (Andrea) Jordan, Jeff Jordan & Jennifer (Tim) Thompson; grandchildren, Josh & Tanner Jordan, Jacob, Hayden, Salera & Satchel Jordan & Dylan (Joe) Woolsey, Tess (Dave) Singer & Brent Thompson; great grandchildren, Sage Singer & Shepherd Woolsey; sisters, Peggy Wilson, Nancy Smith & Debbie Greer. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor and Joe Woolsey officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Members of the Williamson County Bar Association. Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice or Alzheimer’s Association.
