Abner Wryland “Grumpsy” Alley, Jr., age 76 of Spring Hill, TN went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2018. He was born in Williamson County, TN to the late Wryland Alley, Sr. and Katherine Simmons. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill. Abner spent much of his life farming and providing for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by a sister, Sara McGaugh. He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Gayle Little Alley; son, Trey (Tereasa) Alley; daughter, Sissy (Brent) Taylor; sister, Ann Little; grandchildren, Marygayle Alley and Sally Taylor as well as many other loving family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill, Rev. David Sawyer officiating. “Grumpsy” requested that neckties not be worn to visitation and service. Visitation will be held from 4-8PM on Friday at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church. Inurnment will follow the service at Spring Hill Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers will be Pat and Gina Campbell, Laura and Dane Pirtle, Susan and Chris Martin. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Spring Hill.
