Nellijo Adams Batey, age 84 of the Bethesda Community passed away July 11, 2018. Member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church and retired registered nurse. Nellijo enjoyed cooking, family and doing things for others. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Batey; daughter, Susan Mangrum and son, David Batey. Survived by her daughters, Patricia (Tom) Miller of Chapel Hill, TN and Nancy (Tim) Kintz of Bethesda; son in-law, Michael Mangrum; sister, Brenda Montgomery of Crete, IL; grandchildren, Stephanie and Tiffany Woelfer and Kateiri and Anthony Kintz; great grandchildren, Kalum, Kasey and Korrigan Jones. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Monday, July 16, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Joseph Cjeka officiating. Visitation will be held 4-8:00PM Sunday and one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial. Entombment, Remembrance Mausoleum at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and Randy Giles will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made Bethesda Presbyterian Church.
