Donald “Don” Fiske Scott, age 85 of Brentwood, TN, formerly of Myrtle Beach, SC. Donald was born February 12, 1933 in Baltimore, MD to the late Florence Fiske Scott & William Tilghman Scott. Don went to heaven peacefully on July 6, 2018 surrounded by his family. Don was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his brother, William Tilghman Scott, Jr., his loving wife of 58 years, Diane Ruth Scott; three children, Anne (David) Adams, Linda (Tom) Hoppe and John (Stephanie) Scott; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Don attended St Pauls High School in Baltimore and Duke University in Durham NC where he played lacrosse at both institutions lettering 4 times at each program. In 1956 Don graduated from Duke University with a degree in civil engineering and entered into the power construction industry. Don loved his family, loved to travel, loved to smile, loved classical music, and loved his Duke Basketball Blue Devils. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
