Condolence: Cecile,
It’s been over 40 years since I had the pleasure of substituting for Gary at Hillsboro. He was an outstanding leader in the education profession. He laughing ask me one day, “Aren’t you going to change your major from nursing to teaching?” I was quick to inform him that I was not an educator like him. I also remember seeing him in the choir at church when I would visit with my grandmother.
May God give you the peace and comfort in the days ahead. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Praying for you and your family during this difficult time. I told Gary one time that I know he is a christian by the way he sometimes led prayers at our Hillsboro Senior Citizens's meetings. Love you!
Condolence: Heartfelt condolences to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in John 5:28,29 can comfort you in knowing that Jesus assured us of the beautiful hope for a resurrection. Our Heavenly Father Jehovah has extended this hope to millions and amongst those millions are our loved ones, including Mr. Gary. May you find true peace in comfort in the days ahead.
Condolence: I had the pleasure to work with Gary at Hunters Bend Elementary. He was the kindest man. I loved how he worked with and treated the kids. He always had a fun tie on for them to see. I also remember him singing as he walked through the office “ This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!” I know he will be missed by everyone who knew him. Prayers for all his family and friends.💕
Condolence: Heart felt condolences to Mr. Gary's family. He was such a nice person. I loved chatting with him when he would visit Tara and Nathan who are our neighbors. RIP
