Norman Richard Jones, age 71 of College Grove, TN went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2018. Born in Detroit, MI to the late Harold Lester Jones and Margaret Sills Jones. Norman retired after many years of service from General Motors. He enjoyed fishing and had a heart of gold. Most of all he loved his family and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dolores Ann Jones and three siblings, Gloria Lesprance, Wanda Whittenburg and Raymond Jones. He leaves behind his son, Michael (Lisa) Jones; daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Quigley; grandchildren, Adam Jones, Whitley (Kevin) Tripp, Serenity Jones, Kellie, Jacob, Allison and Aimee Quigley. Visitation will be held from 3-7pm on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church Sterling Heights, MI with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Kristor Ulmanis officiating. A luncheon will follow the service with burial being held immediately after in the Oakview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
