Sylvia Roman Griffin, age 54 of Franklin, TN, passed away June 8, 2018. Born in Alpine, TX, to the late Salvador & Irene Roman. She received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX. Sylvia attended Gateway Church in Franklin. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Michael Griffin; sons, Levi Griffin, Seth Griffin & Soren Griffin all of Franklin, TN; brothers, Salvador Roman, Sam Roman, Dan Roman, Cosme Roman all of Marfa, TX, and Raymond Roman of Odessa, TX; sisters, Conseulo Chavez & Lupita Rivera both of Marfa, TX, and Socorro Rivera of Alamogordo, NM; many loving nieces, nephews and several other family members. A celebration of life service will be 1:00PM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Gateway Church, 1288 Lewisburg Pike, Franklin, TN. Charlie Weir will officiate.
