Sarah Elizabeth Purcell Samples, age 96 of Franklin, TN passed away May 13, 2018. She was born in Benton Co. MS. Preceded in death by husband, James Clyde Samples; her parents, James and Jettie Purcell; brothers, James and Wayne Purcell; sister, Ineva Montgomery; and daughter, Nancy (Phil) Miller. Survived by her son, James Lanny (Charlotte) Samples of Cullman, AL; son-in-law Dr. Phillip G. Miller (Linda) of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Emily Samples of Clarksville, TN; Kevin Miller (Page) of Knoxville, TN and Keith Miller (Misty) of Medina, OH and great-grandchildren James Kevin “Jack” Miller, Jr, Coleman Gray Miller, Bowman Garrett Miller of Knoxville, TN and Samuel Graydon “Sam” Miller and Stephen Aaron Miller of Medina, OH. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
