Message: A good man, and a good boss. Worked for him for a year and only met him once, but had a ton of laughs, got good things done, and we talked about family a lot. He loved his family, always catching me up on the things he did with his sons. You could hear him brighten and beam, when he'd talk about his sons--what he did together with them, what they were doing and pursuing. Incredibly sharp man, too. Kept a million things in mind all the time. Knew his technology, but open to new stuff. Pretty unflappable even in circumstances that could make the most unflappable flap. And very very missed...
