Condolence: There are few experiences more difficult than losing a loved one in death; no doubt Mr. Tomlin will be sadly missed by all who knew him. I find comfort in knowing the restoration of life is guaranteed. Jesus spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), was himself resurrected by his Father and he performed many miracles. All such miraculous events, including resurrections, took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15)
Knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed provides comfort as well. His word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:4)
Until his promises are fulfilled, may Jehovah God continue to bless your family in the days to come as you cherish the many fond memories of Mr. Tomlin.....
Condolence: Our hearts go out to you all. We have the beautiful magnolia tree he gave us to remember him by. Every time I see it I will think of my Uncle Charles. Love to you all!!
Condolence: Please accept my deepest condolences. It’s always a painful tragedy to lose a loved one in death. It saddens us to think that we may never see our loved one’s smile again or hear their laughter again. But God has promised all of us that one day death will not exist and that we will see our dead loved ones again. Revelation 21:4 says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry. nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." I hope that this brings your family a measure of solace during this difficult time. If you have more questions about the Bible and its promises, please feel free to contact me or visit JW.org
