Condolence From: Jack H. (Nick) McCall
Condolence: Cannon, Clay and Brad, I know this goes without saying, but your mom was truly a second mom to Holly and me, and also to so many of us growing up in Franklin! So many unforgettable times and events were spent during school years and summers with you all; naturally, your mom was an enormous part of that. I knew her as long as I knew each of you--pretty much my entire life. And so, as you all have lost her, I also feel like I have lost a part of my own mom again, in a real sense.
We know, though, as Christians, that her spirit is in a better place, and while we have lost her physical form from this physical world, her soul still exists--and in this world, she will still exist as long as she is remembered and beloved. I can assure you that will certainly be the case as long as I am alive. Your mom was a gift to you; to the Mayes, Randolph and Smith families; and to an enormous community of friends and citizens of Franklin as well. Her life was a blessing to so many, and to the McCalls, as well.
If there’s anything that the McCall family can do to help you and your extended family, Jennie and I we will be in touch. Please accept our most sincere and profound condolences and sympathies to you all.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Cannon, Clay and Brad, I love you like you are my own brothers--and, you are. -- Nick
