Leon Watkins, age 81 of the Harpeth Community passed away December 1, 2017 at his home. Retired after 33 years from J.E. Crain & Son. He loved gardening, yard sales, canning food, fishing, going to buy from the Amish and helping others. Preceded in death by parents, Jerry & Johnnie Maupin Watkins; brother, John Jerry Watkins. Survived by wife of 63 years, Mary Frances Golden Watkins; sons, Jimmy (Patsy) Watkins & Ricky (Janet) Watkins; sisters, Judy Hargrove & Frances Ferrell; grandchildren, Tony (Mandi) Watkins, Amy (Timmy) Demumbran, Angela (Corey) Clifton & Kayla (Adam) Piatt; great-grandchildren, Colby, Kaden, Cooper, Lexi, Blake, Hunter & Hadleigh; sister in-law, Jean Ann Watkins; special friend, Lewis Mosley. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
