Condolence From: SSgt David Hale, USMC
Condolence: To the Lindsey Family,
I have known Joe for a few years now as I am a part of the "Wreaths Across America" and other tributes at the Veterans Cemetery. He was a wonderful man to work with and I will truly miss him. I don't have the words to say to comfort you during this time, but I know the One who does. Please take comfort in these words. SCPO Lindsey, Joe, until we meet again in heaven, Semper Fidelis, my Brother!
1 Corinthians 15:51-58
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
55 “O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Condolence: I had not seen Joel in many years. I did recently have the privilege to talk to him on the phone and we got to re-live some of the old times. He was the first newborn baby Id ever held. I watched him grow from a diaper wearing biohazard to a strong young man.
This Country has lost another strong young Veteran ,Father,Son,Uncle and nephew before his time.
All my strength goes to Marvin and Cindy and there family in Tennessee. It was a honor to be a part of Joe’s life

Condolence: To Joe's precious family. My heart certainly hurts for each of you. I have known Joe for several years and he was indeed a man that truly loved his family and friends. He was a very disciplined man and very organized in his work with the cemetery. We have truly grown to love Joe and to care about him completely. We will miss his love and compassion that he demonstrated toward the families that he served at the Veterans cemetery. Joe's legacy will live on, Joe earned his wings and is now enjoying Heaven with God and the Heavenly Host. God bless you all. Jerry Ladd, Marshall Donnelly Combs.

Condolence: To Joe's family,
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. While I am certain that few if any words could take away the pain - I would like to share that your husband, father, family member left a profound impression upon my life. He inspired me and provided a great friendship during the short time that I worked with him. I am forever thankful for knowing Joe. May God bless each of you and provide you with His grace in this time.

To Joe's mother and father, I simply cannot imagine the grief you are suffering right now. I know that words are not enough to ease your pain. You do not grieve alone. He was loved by many. To all of his family and friends, Joe left behind a legacy of love, kindness, giving and loyalty. May we all carry that legacy on in his name.
