Condolence: So very sorry to hear about Dennis' passing. He touched many, many lives and was loved by all he came in contact with. My daughter met Dennis at Bowie Nature Park when he was teaching a class to the local high school seniors. She came home that day and was so impressed with his knowledge and how patient he was and passionate about science and teaching others about it. She said she could see why he was my friend, he was such a nice man. He will be missed. You and your family are in our prayers.

Condolence: My sincere condolences. Dennis and I served on the Friends of Radnor Lake board together, and he was a great role model of how to be passionate while being humble. I really appreciated working with Dennis and learning from him. He quietly made great contributions to Radnor Lake during his decades of involvement.

Condolence: Heartfelt condolences to the family. I learned biology from Dennis Gibson many years ago at BGA. What I remember even more than that was the marine biology trip to Chrystal River, FL that he took a few of us on around 1985. It was a fantastic trip full of boat excursions, snorkeling, and laboratory exercises. Thank you, Mr. Gibson, for teaching us.

Condolence: Dennis was truly a jewel. I met him through the Nature Nauts program that he ran every Saturday at Bowie Nature Park. He loved nature and knew so much about everything, and was so gracious about sharing that knowledge, and that love. Kids flocked to him. He touched many lives, and his legacy lives on.
