Condolence From: Jim Cooper
Condolence: I had the honor of working with Don as ATF agents starting in 1979 until he retired. I learned a lot from Don's methods, and the guys who were in Nashville know what I mean. His commitment was never in doubt. He was one of the best.

Condolence From: Bill and Isabel Hurst
Condolence: Don and Carol were good neighbors and friends. Additionally, Don was a mentor and co-worker of mine at ATF many years ago. Don was very good at undercover operations. He will be missed.

Condolence: Don Watson was one of my hero's. He started with the Franklin Police Department when he was well into his fifties. Don passed the required physical ability test out-scoring many of the younger candidates. I always viewed Don as a modern day cowboy. Don was always looking for the next adventure, the next challenge. If you told him something was not possible you can bet he would be all in on finding a way to prove you wrong. Strong willed, determined, and committed to doing whatever he did to the best of his ability. Don loved his wife and family and was always doing what he did to support his family. I'll see you later Don.
