Obituary for Mary Hughes Simmons
Mrs. Mary Hughes Simmons, age 89 of the Bethesda Community passed away January 31, 2016. Born in Williamson County to the late Thomas & Ercelle King Hughes. Preceded in death by husband, Clifton Simmons; sister, Becky Smithson; brothers, Melvin Hughes and Malcolm Hughes. Survived by sons, Lynn Simmons of Murfreesboro, TN and Steve (Donna) Simmons of the Arno Community. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Wednesday, February 3, 2016 with visitation two hours prior at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Ronnie Kephart officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Hughes, Beet Hughes, Ben Smithson, Brian Rohbrough, Mark Puryear and Ronnie Simmons. Memorials may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, 2300 Patterson St. Nashville, TN 37203.
