Obituary for Mrs. Joyce Forehand Taylor

Mrs. Joyce Forehand Taylor, age 85 of Franklin, TN passed away September 4, 2015. Loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Several years ago she taught kindergarten at Berry’s Chapel Church of Christ. Former member of Southern Hills Church of Christ. Preceded in death by husband, John Ollie Taylor, Jr.; parents, Wendell Holmes & Jessie Pauline Caudel Forehand; sister, Pat and her husband Jerry Morrison and brother, Jack Forehand. Survived by: sons, John L. (Ruth) Taylor of Bristol, TN, Jim (Dawn) Taylor of Franklin, TN and Richard (Stacey) Taylor of Franklin, TN; daughter, Terecia Taylor Jewell of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, James (Madeline) Jewell, Chad (Chris) Jewell, Lisa Jewell, Nick (Autumn) Taylor, Brent Taylor, Allison (Jay) Mitchell, Alex, Abby & Anna Beth Taylor; eighteen great grandchildren; brother, Paul (Doris) Forehand of Phoenix, AZ, sister in law, Olga Forehand of Myrtle Beach, SC and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ken Dodge & caring staff at Claiborne & Hughes. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels or Williamson Medical Children’s Hospital. Visitation will be 4-7PM Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
