Janie Rachel Bennett Lane, age 86 of Murfreesboro Tennessee, formerly of the Blackman community and the Bethesda community went home to be with her Lord on August 29, 2015. She was a member of Thompson Station Baptist Church and a former member of Blackman Church of Christ. Preceded in death by husband, Robert Manson Lane; son, Ray Lane; and sister, Allene Bennett. Survived by sons Bobby Lane, Randy (Donna) Lane; daughters, Brenda Lane, Jewell (Terry) Field and Rachel (Ricky) Hickman; brothers, Jimmy Dee (Mattie Ruth) Bennett, Paris Bennett, twin brother Johnnie (Christina) Bennett; sisters, Jewell Denney, Esther Rainey, Marie (Otis) Bentley; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM Monday, August 31and one hour prior to the service at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
