Ms. Janice Renee Sims, age 47 of Thompson Station, TN passed away August 3, 2015. Janice was a very giving person who enjoyed spending time outdoors. She was employed at National Certified Alarm for many years. Janice had a servant’s heart and spent her years in ministry serving the lord. Most of all she was a loving and caring mother to her three children and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her father, Steven Plappert. Survived by her children, Durrell Sims, Deion Sims and Moriah Sims; mother, Mary Helen Badger Plappert; brothers, Stan (Lisa) Plappert, Hugh (Denise) Plappert, Tim Plappert and Michael (Regina) Plappert. She is also survived by her soon to be grandchild Baby Sims. Services will be conducted 11:00AM Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 5-7PM Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Janice Sims Memorial Fund or the ABC at the YMCA.
