Obituary for Nancy Ann Tomlin Smithson

Mrs. Nancy Ann Tomlin Smithson, age 75 of the Cross Keys Community, January 13, 2015. Member of Peytonsville Baptist Church and attended Jones Chapel Church of the Nazarene. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. Head cashier at Williamson Medical Center for over 30 years. Enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports, sing and loved to travel. Her family was her life and she will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by her parents, Rolf & Ruby Tomlin, son, George “June Bug” Smithson, Jr. Survived by: husband, George Smithson, daughters, Leigh Ann (David) Sandlin & Missy Brown; brothers, Jimmy (Kathy) Tomlin & Harry (Dianne) Tomlin; grandchildren, Johnathon Ladd, Marcy (Jimmy) Jenkins, Nicole (Jake) Way, Houston Bagsby, Katie Ladd, Hailee Brown; great grandchildren, Landon Way, Faith Jenkins & Madilyn Gossett. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, January 16, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor & Harry Tomlin officiating. Interment Cross Keys Cemetery. Active pallbearers, Houston Bagsby, Jake Way, Greg Brittan, David Sandlin, Mark Deason, David Deason, Jimmy Jenkins, Johnathon Ladd & Jerry Lee Deason. Honorary pallbearers, Kenneth Mangrum, Jimmy Adams, Tom Thompson, Fred Haley & Buster Robinson. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday and 10:00 AM until service time on Friday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 615 794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
