Louis Brown McMillan
McMillan, Louis Brown, age 77, passed away on September 27, 2014. Longtime resident of the Leipers Fork community, Mr. McMillan was a Christian man who loved his family and never met a stranger. He was a great cook and loved to garden. He never missed an Iroquois Steeplechase where he was a longtime Paddock Official. In his early years, he was a high school football star and rodeo bull rider. Founder of McMillan Construction Company. He loved to work. He will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Coleman McMillan; parents, Ellis & Elizabeth Hughes McMillan; and brothers, Billy & Kenneth McMillan. He is survived by his wife, Susan Brown McMillan; son, Mark (Ladonna) McMillan; daughter, Melinda (Mark) George; brother, Bryant (Jane) McMillan; sisters, Mary Lois McMillan, Sara Warf, Debbie (Ray) Barrett, Carolyn (Bobby) Mosley, & Joyce (Ronald) Crutcher; grandchildren, Nicholas Brown (Lanie) McMillan, Graham McMillan, Katie (Andrew) Hooser, Mason (Malaney) George, Anna George, & Alli George; great-grandchildren, Jackson & Lillie McMillan, Adelaide & George Hooser, Crawford George; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, 1-4PM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, September 29, 2014 at 10:00AM in Williamson Memorial Gardens with Jim Taylor officiating.
