As a young child, Adrian moved several times until he settled in his adopted “home state” of Florida. He spent his early years as a successful athlete participating in surfing, baseball and football. During high school he played the drums in a local band which led to his playing as the drummer with The Left Bank and played on their Number 1 hit “Don’t Walk Away Renee”. At 17 years old, Adrian convinced his father to authorize his enlistment in the U.S. Army. He served in Vietnam and was wounded during his tour. He was a decorated veteran and was awarded and honored with the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Campaign Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Expert Badge (M14), First Class (Hand Grenade), One Overseas Service Bar, and a Vietnam Campaign Medal. Berry Company, Rutledge Hill Press, Cumberland Press, and Pelican Press. As a young adult he enjoyed employment as a model and as an actor in several local and national TV commercials. Adrian married Lisa Barnhill and joined the Barnhill family in 1989. Although they were divorced in 2008, their friendship continued through the years. He also cherished and maintained a deep love of the Barnhill family. But his greatest love and source of joy and pride was his daughter, Samantha.
