Obituary for Mr. Milton "Buster" Johnson

JOHNSON, Mr. Milton “Buster”, age 84 of Thompsons Station, TN passed away July 9, 2014. Mr. Johnson was born in Williamson County to the late John Oakley & Susan Byrd Johnson. He attended Boston & Old Hope Church of Christ. He was a farmer and long time truck driver who knew the meaning of hard work. He was a fun-loving person who would play a joke on anyone. He was also the best Papaw to all of his loving grandchildren. Preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Johnson; sister, Christine Johnson, Lorene Johnson and Mildred Davis. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Janice Carolyn Capshaw Johnson; son, Ronald Milton (Connie) Johnson; daughters, Debra (Wendell) Taylor, Kathy (Greg) Dexter and Sheila (Terry) Myers; brothers, Johnny (Vivian) Johnson; sister, Kathryn Johnson; 10 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Services will be conducted 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Terry Smith and Paul Wingfield officiating. Burial Johnson Hollow Cemetery, grandchildren to serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers: JT Langley, Gary Denton, Boyd Fly and John Holt. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital. Visitation will be held 4-8pm Friday and one hour prior to service at SPRING HILL MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 931-486-0059 www.springhill-memorial.com
