Mrs Joyce my prayers are with you and the family. Maynard was one of the finest men i ever met and it was a pleasure and an honor to know him and you as friends. I was saddened to hear the news late, i was out of town on vacation and it was just brought to my attention. I feel a hole in my spirit. Lots of Love sent your way!I loved his dedication to the 4-H program and his love of horses.

Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Maynard was a very special man and a wonderful friend.
With my deepest sympathies, Joyce, to you and your family. The time spent with Maynard and you at 4-H State Fair are among my fondest memories.
The Mudge Family
May peace be with you all :) and God give you strength at this time. Maynard was a wonderful person and we will miss him dearly. I, Eva, have so many wonderful memories of Maynard through NY-PENN and 4H at State Fair with Joyce and my mom. My family and I were very lucky to have known him. I know he and mom are sitting there and chatting and reminiscing.

Maynard was the man behind good relations between the horse barn and the cattle barn at New York State Fair. He was a great guy and a pleasure to work with. I had alot of respect for him and he will be missed by all. I'm sure he's riding the trails of heaven now. Happy trails pard!
Maynard was a huge part of our 4-H experience, especially at State Fair. He was the superintendant of the 4-H horse show, and gave us good advice, could handle any problem and was always there to lend a hand or just chat. I treasure those days spent with him, as do the past members of my 4-H club.
To a friend and supporter. My deepest condolences to the entire Lawton Family. I have and will always remember Maynards commitment and support to young people and to myself
